Our Past
In 1961, Paul Morin--along with his wife, Joan--founded what was then known as "Paul B. Morin Counter, Wall, and Floor Coverings." At that time, the Morins operated their business out of their Bethany Beach home, which was located literally just feet from where the Sea Colony high-rises stand today. In 1966, the Morins relocated their business to Clarksville (located 4 mi. west of Bethany) and then, in 1984, to the business's current location in Ocean View. The Morins' commitment to superior customer service and the highest ethical standards is the main reason why Paul Morin's Floor and Wall Design continues to thrive today.
Our Present
Today, Paul Morin's Floor and Wall Design remains a family- and locally-owned and operated business. The owners, Paula Morin Hudson, Paul and Joan's daughter and the only Certified Flooring Executive (CFE) in the State of Delaware, and Paula's husband, Ken, continue the tradition of excellence started by the Morins 47 years ago. At Paul Morin's, we specialize in the sales, installation, and service of a wide variety of floor coverings (click on the "Products" link above)--including such unique products as glass and decorative tile from England, cork from Portugal, and exotic hardwood from Brazil, Germany, Canada, and elsewhere.
